One day, changed everything. Three weeks after I got married, an accident upended our lives. Overnight, we went from two incomes to one—and stayed there for years as I recovered. We lost more than we expected to, but we gained something I carry into every client relationship: a clear understanding of how essential it is to have a plan that holds when life does not go as expected. My faith and solid planning carried me through to help rebuild our lives.
That experience is a significant part of why I have spent my career in financial planning, and why I founded Freedom Financial Group in 2022. Since entering the industry in 2008, my focus has remained consistent: helping people get the right pieces in place so that when questions arise, or when circumstances change, they are not starting from scratch.
The planning areas I work in most closely, comprehensive financial planning, estate planning, tax planning, and protection planning, are not separate concerns in my mind. They are interconnected parts of the same picture, and I work to treat them that way.
What I find most rewarding in this work is the moment when a client moves from uncertainty to clarity. The questions that have been sitting unanswered for months or years finally have honest answers, and the path forward becomes visible. That shift is what motivates the work.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Mount Saint Joseph and the CLTC designation. I am a Million Dollar Round Table member with Top of the Table status, and my recognitions include the Masters Council Platinum Award* and the President’s Council Award** amongst others.
We love the Tri-state Northern Kentucky area where I live with my husband, our two adult children, and our three pets. Outside the office, you’ll often find me in the outdoors. I love boating on Lake Cumberland, gardening, swimming, or relaxing at the beach or mountains somewhere. Faith and community are very important to me. I’m committed in supporting autism awareness, our local church community, recovery from child and women’s trafficking, and our veterans through Tunnel to Towers, among others.
